While I like the Christmas holidays, I love the quietness of January afterwards. This year, in particular, I look forward to starting a new year with new choices and new days. I came across Woodie Guthrie’s ‘New Year’s Rulin’s’ from his notebook dated January 1, 1943. Over 70 years later, many of his ‘rulin’s’ are still appropriate today… I had a hard time picking my favorites, but ‘Dream Good ‘ and ‘Stay Glad ‘ are up there!
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a peaceful, healthy, happy 2014.
